Welcome to Devon artist Anje Yelf's website.

My intentions are to develop a website, which will contain something of interest for anyone who visits the site.

Art Portfolio

Browse through the range of my own personal art work as a westcountry artist working and living in Devon. There is a selection in various mediums including watercolours, oils, drawings, silhouettes and trompe l'oeil.

Degree Project

A synopsis of the project I undertook to achieve a Computing degree with honours.

Kitchen Renovation

A general diary about the recent kitchen renovation to my edwardian town house. I've written several helpful tips that I used to help the schedule run with less stress.

Garden

Devoted to the flora and creatures that thrive throughout the seasons in the courtyard and small front garden of my 1907 Edwardian Terraced property. There is a special page displaying images of the garden spiders I find within my garden and home; a 'what's in flower' diary;beneficial garden insects; plants that survive in the garden with slugs and snails and helpful information for planting in a garden that faces north.

Links

A page containing links to various websites of topical interest and wildlife conservation. Including an excellent website on British Wildlife Photography and Environment News, Forums, and Events called 'Wild About Britain'.

Mica Yelf Photography

A page devoted to Mica Yelf's photography; a young and upcoming artist who is about to embark on a foundation degree in photography.

More to follow; this is currently under development:

Further topics will be developed on the views and natural habitat around the traditional market town of Newton Abbot in Devon, (where I have lived since 1969), including its architecture and places to visit.

I am Anje Yelf, artist and wife of my very understanding husband Mark; mum to Dave and Mica. Bookmark this website and return regularly to watch how this site unfolds.
